THE ONLY WAY
Jesus made a bold claim: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). In a world that often presents many paths to fulfillment, Jesus declares that He is the only way to the Father.
Think of a national park. You might have a map, but the best way to navigate it, especially if it's unfamiliar or dangerous, is with a tour guide. Jesus isn't just giving us a map; He's saying, "Come, follow me." He's walked this path before us.
Following Jesus is a daily commitment, not just a weekly routine. It involves obedience, humility, love, and faith. It means releasing our desire for control and trusting that He knows the way, even when we don't.
Let's Reflect:
In what areas of your life are you tempted to follow your own way instead of trusting Jesus?
What does it mean to you that Jesus has already walked the path before you?
Let's Pray:
Jesus, thank you for being the way. Help us to trust you completely and to follow you daily. Help us to release our need for control and to surrender to your guidance. Amen.
