This eight-session class invites you into a deeper journey of emotional and spiritual health. Grounded in Scripture and inspired by the teaching of Geri Scazzero, you’ll explore the practice of “biblical quitting”—letting go of what harms your soul or the souls of others so you can experience true freedom and life in Christ.
Led by Pastor Stacy Hockenbury and Alicia Houston, each session will focus on teaching, discussion, and personal application, helping you move from surface-level faith to genuine, lasting transformation. If you’re ready to stop pretending and start living whole and free, this class is for you. The book and workbook bundle is $30. Purchase is required at time of registration and your order can be picked up at the Next Steps booth on Sundays. Class is held Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 at Authentic Church HQ.

YOUR MARRIAGE MATTERS
The health of your marriage matters. At Authentic, we understand that a church cannot be healthy without healthy marriages. To that end, helping couples grow healthy marriages is a high priority. We are pleased to be able to offer limited complementary marriage coaching to Partners of Authentic Church whose relationships are struggling or in crisis.
MEET YOUR COACHES

Jaime and Madison have been married for 7 years and have two beautiful children, Mila and Arden. They met while studying at Vanguard University, where Jaime received a degree in Pastoral Leadership and Madison received a degree in Missions. Madison later went on to receive her Masters in Pastoral Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage and Families from Liberty University.
Having gone through difficulties and overcoming great obstacles in their own marriage, Jaime and Madison are extremely passionate about helping couples thrive in their marriages and become the spouses that God has called them to be. They realize that marriage can be messy, but hope for couples to realize that if they are willing to put in the time, energy, and hard work, God can make something beautiful out of their marriage. Understanding that marriage problems can often seem isolating, they hope for couples to know they are not alone and that healing happen in community and there is great power in vulnerability.

Kat and Johnie have been together for 21 years, and married for 15.
For the Gonzalezes, marriage means becoming a force to be reckoned with for the Kingdom of God! In their own words, “This world will always do it's best to knock you down and tear you apart. It's important that in marriage we stand as one and understand what it means to not only have a strong marriage, but a fun filled marriage.”
Kat and Johnie believe the difficulties they’ve experienced and overcome together—things that nearly ended their marriage—taught them not only to fill the voids in their life with God, but also to break the mold that divorce is the only way. God redeems and restores. Their heart is walk with couples through difficult seasons as they discover that rebuilding trust in marriage is possible.
